Barn Reins Terms of Service
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Agreement
By using Barn Reins ("the platform"), you agree to these terms. Barn Reins is operated by DewWow LLC ("we," "us," "our"). If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the platform.
Your Account
Accounts are created by invitation. DewWow sets up a barn on request, and the barn's owner or manager invites the people in their barn. Each barn sees only its own horses, people and records.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not share your login credentials with others.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Barn Reins only for lawful barn management purposes. You may not:
- Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Upload harmful content, viruses, or malicious code
- Interfere with the operation of the platform
- Resell or redistribute the platform without permission
Your Data
You own the data you enter into Barn Reins. We do not claim ownership of your barn data, horse records, or other content. You grant us a license to store, process, and display your data as needed to provide the service.
You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter. We are not liable for decisions made based on information stored in the platform.
If you enter information about a minor, such as a young rider, you do so as the person responsible for that minor's records.
Our Privacy Policy at https://www.dewwow.com/privacy explains how we handle your information.
Your Own Assistant
You can connect an assistant of your own choosing to Barn Reins. It works on your behalf, only within your barn and the switches you or your barn's manager turn on, and it can never delete records. What it reads goes to that assistant's provider under your own agreement with them, so choose one you trust. You can turn the connection off at any time.
Online Payments
A barn, and any practitioner a barn works with, can turn on online payment for their own bills.
- Where the money goes. Payments go through Stripe, directly into the Stripe account of whoever sent the bill. DewWow is not the seller, does not hold the money, and takes no fee from these payments today. If that changes, we will tell you at least 30 days before.
- The seller's responsibilities. Whoever sends a bill is its seller: the barn for its own bills, and a practitioner for theirs. The seller sets the prices and is responsible for refunds, disputes, receipts and any taxes, and for following Stripe's terms for their account.
- Paying a bill. When you pay a bill, you are paying the barn or practitioner who sent it, under their own policies. Questions about a charge go to them first.
- Card details. Card and bank details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by us. We keep the payment reference, the amount and whether it has been paid.
For Practitioners
Vets, farriers, chiropractors, equine dentists, bodyworkers, saddle fitters and other professionals can use Barn Reins with the barns that invite them.
- You see only what a barn shares with you, such as the horses you care for and your own visits.
- You are responsible for your professional work, for the care you record, and for the bills you send.
- A barn can end your access at any time. When it does, your private link stops working, so keep your own copies of the bills you send. Payments you received stay in your own Stripe account.
Service Availability
We strive to keep Barn Reins available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.
Free and Paid Plans
Barn Reins offers a free plan, and free plan features may change over time. Paid plans (Plus and Pro) are coming soon. Their prices and features will be published before you can buy them. Once paid plans are offered, their pricing and features may change with 30 days' notice, and you may cancel a paid plan at any time.
Limitation of Liability
Barn Reins is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. When an account is closed, we keep its data for 30 days and then permanently delete it.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
